Tutorial Video: Add Link Text to WordPress Post or Page

Here’s a video that shows you how to insert links into the text of a WordPress post or page using two examples.  One to link to a page within your site and one to link to an external page.  That means that you could link to say, your contact page like that or link to another site to add some more information to the content of your page or post.  I used a link to a wiki page about WordPress but here I’ll link to the WordPress codex.

How to Publish a Post on a Future Date or Schedule a WordPress Post.

WordPress can add a post when you tell it to.  If you want to publish something in the future, it is quite easy to do and this short video will show you how to schedule a WordPress post.  You might use this to publish a post when you are away on holiday or to coincide with a particular date or anniversary.  In the case in the Video, Brighton Therapy Service did a series of posts titled “Twelve Days of Christmas,” and we set them up to publish one at a time on the particular days.

This is a short video to show how to preview a post in a WordPress site.  WordPress has quite a few options for you, just to do with saving and publishing a post.  If you aren’t ready to publish, you can save as a draft.  This might be handy if you haven’t got time to finish what you are writing or if someone else is collaborating or approving the text.
